Kenneth G. Paterson was educated at the High School of Glasgow and graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 1971. He trained with a large Glasgow firm before moving to Galloway in 1973. Rural practice has been his professional life for more than 30 years and he is well able to deal with most matters which are within this busy country practice. He sits as an Honorary Sheriff at Stranraer and is a member of the Agricultural Law Association.
Derek G. Laburn attended Dundee High School and graduated from Edinburgh University in 1982. After a traineeship in industry he underwent posts in private practice and local authority work before joining Rankin & Aitken in 1997. He has lived in Galloway for over 25 years and so is familiar with the area and its populace. He undertakes mainly conveyancing and executry matters.
